Cancellation & Refund Policy

When you can cancel, when you can't, and how refunds work.

Cancellation window

You may cancel any order up to 5 minutes after placement, provided the restaurant has not yet started preparing the food.
After the restaurant accepts the order and starts cooking, cancellation is no longer possible.

The current order status is shown on the order-tracking page. If the status is still Placed, you can cancel. Once it becomes Accepted or later, the cancel button is disabled.

How to cancel

Open My Orders.
Tap the order you want to cancel.
If the order is still cancellable, tap Cancel order and confirm.
(Optional) Tell us the reason — it helps the restaurant improve.

Refunds

Cash on Delivery (COD)	No refund needed (no money was collected).	—

Coupon / wallet credit	Refund as JFIT wallet credit, usable on your next order.	Instant.

Refunds for restaurant-side cancellations

If the restaurant cancels (e.g. ran out of an ingredient, closed unexpectedly, couldn't reach your coach), we issue a full refund to your original payment source plus a ₹50 apology coupon for your next order.

Refunds for delivery issues

Food not delivered at all — full refund.
Wrong station / wrong train — full refund if you reported within 30 minutes of the order's delivery time.
Spilled or poor quality on arrival — partial refund (50%) plus a coupon. Please share a photo in the order's review section.

To report a delivery issue, open the order in My Orders and tap Report a problem.

What we don't refund

Orders where the train arrived at the delivery station and the delivery boy attempted contact but couldn't reach you.
Orders cancelled after the restaurant has started preparing.
Taste preferences (use the special-instructions box to communicate allergies/restrictions before you place the order).
